Véronique Sanson, born April 24, 1949 in Boulogne-Billancourt, is a French singer-songwriter and pianist. Véronique Sanson has obtained numerous prizes and decorations during her career, including three Victoires de la Musique and the Grand Médaille de la chanson française, awarded by the Académie française for her work as a whole. She is also an officer of the Order of Arts and Letters and a knight of the National Order of Merit.
